“Last minute reservation during our two week, stay in Corsica. Needed a place for two nights and was reasonably priced located. Not too far from the old city. Rooms were spacious, super clean and comfortable. The reception team was amazing. They were friendly, always there to help and assist which was greatly appreciated. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying for a few nights visiting Corsica.”

“Very spacious rooms. Very clean. A bit outside of the main centre. If you do not have a car, there is a free shuttle that takes you to the centre but you have to check the night route schedule because they appear to not always run at the stop near the hotel. Receptionnist who checked us in was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again in the future because of the quality of the room for the price we paid. You do not see that kind of spacious room at that price in this country.”

“Le Balamina was an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spotless. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, especially waking up to the mountain side. However, I did have a minor issue at the restaurant. The fish I ordered didn’t quite taste up to par. Thankfully, the server was incredibly helpful and the staff promptly addressed the problem, offering me a complimentary dish as an apology. Overall, I had a perfect experience and highly recommend Le Balamina.”

“Lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful and the Breakfast offered for 14 Euros is good quality with a wide selection of food and drinks. We are on holiday and knew the hotel location is not ideal for venturing out for food. But we have a car so decided it was no big deal. However car parking can be a problem in the town and port at busy times. Found out today, our last day, that there is a free bus service covers about 3 circular routes which runs until midnight . This is not a hotel service but offered by the district. Would have been good for the hotel to advertise this considering two of the routes have bus stops nr the hotel!! A big bonus for the location is the views of the mountains. Both the mountains and the sea can be viewed from the roof top restaurant and bar The pictures of the hotel indicate you can enjoy drinks at the pool. This is not really possible as the bar is closed during the day. It opens at 6PM and so there are 2 hours where it is possible to enjoy a drink and the pool A bug bear of mine...pillows and towels. In both cases the hotel lets me down. Particularly the small flimsy bath towels!! Overall , a good experience but has some negative points as explained. PS...free bus service. It's called A Citadina. There is an app which is really helpful. This app is called Pysae”

“Nice modern hotel. Rooms are very large. The king bed is a good size and quite soft & comfortable with quality bedding. Rainfall shower was large with great water pressure. WiFi works well. Nespresso machine is a nice touch too. Only downside is its location further out of Porto-Vecchio. It’s about 30 minute walk, however if you have a car it’s a great option. A hypermarket and other stores are close by and more walkable. We had a comfortable one night stay here but next time I’d probably prefer to be in the centre of Porto-Vecchio where there is more going on.”
